Wurth Electronics Midcom Inc. has teamed up with CadSoft to offer an EAGLE PCB component library for Wurth Electronics Midcom standard magnetics line and Speedy Design Service package styles.
The EAGLE library includes part schematics and pad layouts for not only all standard Wurth Electronics Midcom products, but also for all Speedy and standard package styles used in custom designs. Included in the library are the integrated RJ45 LAN products, which are time-consuming models for the designer to create. For easy reference, each part number has basic electrical information and/or a link to the datasheet.
“Wurth Electronics Midcom is always searching for ways to provide “more than you expect” service to our customers. We feel that providing EAGLE libraries for all of our standard components makes the design process simpler and quicker,” states Dean Huumala, Product Marketing Manager at Wurth Electronics Midcom.
“The Wurth Electronics Midcom library can be integrated into EAGLE and is a ready-to-use tool to optimize our customer’s productivity. Besides, many more third party PCB component libraries, design projects and User Language Programs (ULPs) for feature enhancement, such as simulation, 3D-visualization, data export and import are available through the CadSoft website,” says Thomas Liratsch, General Manager of CadSoft.
Customers can access EAGLE drawings online at www.we-online.com/eagle and clicking the Wurth Electronics Midcom library link. The library can also be downloaded from CadSoft at http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/libraries, search for Wurth to access the download link.
